The Westchester Concert Singers performs two major concerts per year, in early December and early May and the season semesters begin in September and January.

Regularly scheduled rehearsals are held on Monday nights from 7:45 to 10:15 p.m.at the Pleasantville High School on Romer Avenue.. Rehearsals begin on the Monday following Labor Day with a 6 - 7 week break after the December concert. There are no rehearsals between early May and early September.

All potential new singers need to meet with the Music Director prior to becoming members in order to make a mutual decision that the Westchester Concert Singers is a good fit for them. These meetings usually take place starting around 7:00 pm prior to the regular rehearsal at 7:30. The Director will ask potential members about their music and singing background, have them sing some scales to determine into which voice part they can best contribute, and have them perform a few other short singing exercises. An audition can be requested at any time between September and May. However, in order to sing in a particular concert, members must be sufficiently prepared so the ideal time is to audition at the very beginning of each half of the season, i.e., early September, early January.
